Yuva Nidhi Scheme 2024 Apply Online

In Karnataka, the process to register online for the Yuva Nidhi scheme has started. This program, called “Yuva Nidhi Yojana,” is a new effort by the Karnataka government. Young individuals who register will receive a monthly allowance for unemployment.

The Yuva Nidhi scheme offers financial aid to unemployed individuals in Karnataka. If you’re a bachelor’s degree or diploma holder and currently jobless, the government will provide assistance of up to Rs. 3000 every month until you secure employment. This financial support is designed to help you cover your expenses while you focus on finding a suitable job.

To benefit from the Yuva Nidhi scheme, you need to be registered as unemployed. You can do this either by visiting the local employment exchange (offline) or by registering in the state government’s online database of unemployed individuals. This ensures that you meet the eligibility criteria to receive the scheme’s assistance.

Great news! The registration for the final phase of the ‘Yuva Nidhi’ scheme, the fifth installment, begins on December 26, as confirmed by Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. This program, backed by a budget of Rs. 250 crores, is specifically designed to provide unemployment assistance to graduates and diploma holders.

Allowances Distribution and Start Date:

From January 12 onwards, the government will start distributing allowances under the Yuva Nidhi Scheme. Notably, this date aligns with the celebration of National Youth Day, commemorating Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary. This initiative underscores the state’s dedication to supporting and empowering its young population.

Karnataka Unemployment Allowance Guidelines

Under the Yuva Nidhi Scheme, the Karnataka government aims to provide financial support to graduates and diploma holders facing unemployment. Those who remain unemployed for six months post-graduation can receive Rs 3,000 per month (graduates) or Rs 1,500 per month (diploma holders) for two years.

To avail of this assistance, graduates and diploma holders with Karnataka domicile need to apply through the Seva Sindhu portal. They must submit a self-declaration stating their unemployment status for the past six months. The government will then transfer the designated amount to their bank accounts for the specified two-year period.

It’s important to note that if a beneficiary secures employment before the two-year period concludes, the assistance will cease. The government emphasizes that failure to declare employment status and continuing to receive benefits will result in penalties.

Additionally, the government has issued an order regarding the implementation of the Anna Bhagya scheme. This initiative ensures that every member of Below Poverty Line (BPL) families and Antyodaya cardholders receive 10 kg of free rice per month.
