Sun Pharma Science Foundation Research Fellowships 2024

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

• be an Indian national or Non-Resident Indian (NRI) scientist working in India or abroad

Selected scholars will receive a cash prize of ₹2,50,000, a trophy and a citation.

• Full Name
• Date of Birth
• Citizenship (Indian Scientists working in India or abroad with a valid Indian Passport are eligible)
• Designation and Contact Information (including phone number, mobile number, and email address for both office and residence)
• A signed justification letter from the nominator (maximum 400 words) explaining why the applicant deserves the fellowship

Nominator Information:

• Name
• Designation and Contact Information (including phone number, mobile number, and email address)

After uploading the nominator’s justification letter, the applicant will receive login credentials to continue the nomination process and are required to upload the following information:

• Complete Curriculum Vitae (CV) in 3,000 words ensuing it includes the applicant’s education, professional experience, publications, and awards
• List of ten best papers of the candidate, highlighting the important discoveries/contributions described in them briefly (not to exceed 3,000 words)
• Statement of Prior Award briefly explaining any previous fellowships received by the applicant and their connection to the current research (maximum 2,000 words). Also, Include citations for the research that led to the prior fellowships
• Details of the research work duly signed by the applicant, for which the Sun Pharma Science Foundation Research Fellowship is claimed, including references and illustrations (not more than 6,000 words)
• Copy of one or two specific publications/research papers of the applicant, relevant to the research work on which the fellowship is claimed
• A signed statement from the applicant to the effect that the research work under reference has not been given any fellowship in the past. The applicant should also indicate the extent of the contribution of others associated with the research and he/she should clearly identify their achievements (not to exceed 500 words)
• Citation (summary) on the outstanding research work on which Fellowship is claimed in about 250 words signed by the nominator
