Stipend for ST/SC Law Graduates, Karnataka 2024-25 is an opportunity offered by the Social Welfare Department of the Karnataka Government to provide financial assistance to recent law graduates from Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities. It aims to empower these graduates to pursue careers in law by providing a monthly stipend for a period of four years. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹5,000.
Eligibility
To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be a resident of Karnataka
- belong to a Scheduled Caste (SC) or Scheduled Tribe (ST) community
- hold a recognised law degree (either a 3-year or 5-year program) from a government-recognised state or central university/institution
- have a family income not exceeding ₹2,00,000 per annum
Benefits
After successful spot verification, a monthly stipend of ₹5,000 is given for 4 years. A stipend will be credited to the account of the applicants.

How can you apply?
Eligible applicants can follow these steps to apply:-
Step 1: Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button below.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Register’ button on the right-hand side of the dashboard and fill in the required details to ‘Register’ (Note:- If already registered, log in using the registered email ID.)
Step 3: Navigate to ‘REGISTER’ at the bottom of the page and click on ‘Click Here’.
Step 4: Tick the selection for ‘Fresher’ and then click ‘Proceed’.
Step 5: Fill in the required details and click on ‘Verify Applicant Aadhaar’.
Step 6: Fill in the required details, upload the necessary documents and click on submit.
Step 7: An SMS will be sent to applicants after successful completion of the process. Applicants can print the acknowledgement form as proof of the application.
