Sanchar Kranti Yojana 2024
Sanchar Kranti Yojana has been launched by the Government of Chhattisgarh to provide free smartphones to the citizens of the state. This scheme has been specially launched to promote mobile connectivity. Under Sanchar Kranti Yojana, free smartphones will be provided to about 50 lakh citizens by the state government. > The implementation of the Sanchar Kranti Yojana will be done by Chhattisgarh Infotech Promotion Society Agency.
> Under this scheme, the distribution of mobile phones to eligible citizens will be done by the District Collector at the > Panchayat Bhawan, his shop, or other places.
> The time when the smartphones will be distributed will be ensured by the District Collector.
> Beneficiaries will be selected by the Panchayat or Rural Development Department in rural areas under the Sanchar Kranti Yojana.
> In urban areas, the beneficiaries will be selected by the Urban Administration Department.
> Under Sanchar Kranti Yojana, the college youth will be selected by the Higher Education Department.
