Cooking gas worth Rs 450 will be available from January 1, big announcement by Chief Minister

And not 1000 rupees, this time cooking gas will be available at less than half price. LPG cylinder will reach Henshel for only Rs 450. This gas will be available from 1st January 2024. But not all, those who are covered by Ujjwala Yojana, will get this benefit.

This service will be available in Rajasthan for now, but not in all states. The new government is fulfilling the election promises. In the election campaign, he promised to deliver cooking gas at a low price to the households. Keeping that promise, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Wednesday announced that the state government will provide LPG cylinders at Rs 450. Customers included in PM Ujjwala Yojana will get this service for Rs.450.

At present, consumers under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana of the Center get cooking gas at Rs 500. However, from now on in Rajasthan, it will cost 50 rupees less to buy a cylinder. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal announced this in a public meeting from Tonk, Rajasthan on Wednesday. He later announced this on the X handle as well.

In the post, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi sabka sath, sabka vikas, sabka biswas, sabka prayas – inspired by the principle of good governance, the Rajasthan government will provide gas cylinders for 450 rupees to every BPL customer and Ujjwala Scheme customer. Modiji’s guarantee means it will be fulfilled.”

Even in the first phase, poor families were given connections under the Ujjwala scheme. But, after getting the free gas cylinder for the first time, most of the families did not refill the gas cylinder. He said that the price of a gas cylinder is so high that it is beyond his reach. For this reason, most of the families keep gas stoves in their houses.

Any family can apply under this modification project. After receiving updates regarding validity on the concerned family’s online portal, they will be given a direct connection to the concerned LPG distributor. Bonus etc. will be received directly into the customer’s bank account. Earlier only BPL families got recognition.
