The applicant must qualify as any one of the following –
> homeless family
> Families whose houses have zero, one, or two rooms and kutcha walls and kutcha roofs.
> Household in which there is no literate adult above 25 years of age.
> Households in which there is no adult male member in the age group of 16 to 59 years.
> Household with no adult member aged between 16 and 59 years.
> Families without able-bodied members and those with disabled members.
> Landless families get income from casual labor.
> Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Others, and Minorities.
Apart from this, the applicant should have these qualifications –
> The applicant must be a resident of India.
> The applicant should not have a permanent house.
> The applicant must have crossed the age limit of 18 years.
> The annual income of the applicant should be between Rs 03 lakh to Rs 06 lakh.
> The name of the applicant should be on the ration card or BPL list.
> The applicant must have his name on the voter list, after this he should have a valid identity card.

How to Apply PM Awas Yojana Online
If you cannot apply online for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin at home, you will have to go to any public service center or block or village head with all the documents given above and take all your documents to the village head PM. One can go to the Housing Scheme Assistant and apply online, its process is as follows –
> First of all, you have to visit the official website of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
> After this, the main page of the website will open in front of you, you will see three pies located in the menu bar, click on it, and then some options will appear in front of you in the form of a list, in that you will have to click on “Awaassoft”, Then after this another list will open, in which you will have to click on “Data Entry”.
