The Odisha state government launched the Odisha Subhadra Yojana 2024. To provide financial assistance to all the financially weak female citizens of the state the state government introduced the Odisha Subhadra Yojana 2024. Under this scheme, the financial assistance of INR 10,000 per year will be given to the selected female citizens of Odisha state. What is Subhadra Yojana?
Odisha state introduced the Subhadra Yojana before the election in their election manifesto. Now after successfully coming into power in Odisha state, the BJP party has finally launched the Subhadra Yojana. Under this glorious welfare scheme, the BJP government will provide financial assistance to all the financially unstable female citizens of Odisha state. The total financial assistance of INR 50000 will be transferred to all the female citizens over the period of 5 years. This scheme will encourage the female citizens of Odisha state and help them to become self-dependent.

A total of 30 districts of Odisha state will be covered under the Odisha Subhadra Yojana. Objective of Subhadra Yojana
The main objective of launching the Subhadra Yojana is to uplift the lives of all the female citizens who belong to the economically weaker section of society. This scheme will uplift the social status and standard of living of all the financially unstable female citizens of Odisha state. With the help of financial assistance, female citizens can get various facilities like Healthcare, education, etc. For the implementation of the scheme, the Odisha state government has set up a total budget of INR 55,825 crores. The financial benefit will be given to a total of 1 crore female citizens of Odisha state.
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Odisha state.
- The applicant must be a female citizen.
- The female citizen must be between the age group of 21 to 60 years.
- The female citizen must be a financially unstable citizen.
The applicant should be covered under the National Food Security Act (NFSA) / State Food Security Scheme (SFSS). Any woman from a family without an NFSA or SFSS
Financial Assistance
- The financial assistance of INR 10000 per year will be given to the selected female citizens for a total of 5 years.
Installment Release Date
- The first installment of Odisha Subhadra Yojana will be released on 8th March 2024 (Women’s Day).
- The second installment of the Odisha Subhadra Yojana will be released on 19th August 2025 (Rakhi Purnima Day).

Applicant Checklist
- All the female citizens who are eligible and have applied to receive the benefits of the Subhadra Yojana must and sure the following points:
- They must have an Aadhaar card / Aadhaar number in their own name.
- They must have linked their mobile number with the Aadhaar card.
- They must have a single-holder bank account that is Aadhaar-enabled and DBT-enabled.
- If the female citizen does not have an Aadhar card or their data does missed match in her Aadhar Card she will not be eligible, so she has to correct her Aadhar Card details and then and all again.
- If the female citizen does not have a single holder Aadhar enabled and DBT enabled bank account should be provided for: (a). Opening a single-holder bank account, (b). Making the bank account Aadhaar-enabled, (c). Making the bank account DBT-enabled, and (d). Completing the process for e-KYC.
- In the financial year 2024-25, all the beneficiaries will receive a financial benefit of INR 10,000 under the Subhadra Yojana.

Offline Application Procedure
STEP 1: All the female citizens of Odisha state who clear the eligibility criteria for Subhadra Yojana can now visit their nearest Anganwadi Centres, Block Offices, Urban Local Body Offices, or Mo Seva Kendras to apply for the scheme offline.
STEP 2: After reaching the centers the female citizens must take the pre-printed forms free of cost from the officials.
