Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has announced the Niyat Nelanar Scheme in the Assembly on 15 February 2024. Under this scheme, more than 25 basic facilities will be provided in the villages within a radius of 5 kilometers of the 14 new camps started in the terrorist area. Besides, the tribals of Bastar will be provided benefits of 32 individual schemes of the Central and State Government. So that Bastar and Naxal affected villages can be developed. Through this scheme, the villages around the police camps built in the most Naxalite areas will be developed. Because there are many villages in the state where basic facilities remain a dream. This scheme will prove to be revolutionary in such areas.

Objective of CG Niyat Nelanar Yojana 2024
The main objective of starting the Nelanar Scheme set by the Government of Chhattisgarh is to develop the villages within the radius of 5 kilometers of the Police Camp in the Naxal affected area of Bastar of the state and to provide them the necessary facilities under various schemes of the State Government so that the Tribal people can be provided complete facilities like electricity, water, roads, health as well as education. Under Chhattisgarh Niyat Nelanar, the following benefits will be given to the tribals of Bastar for economic development.
> Under this scheme, benefits of PM Awas Yojana, free ration, gram, salt, hand pump, bank sakhi, ATM, mobile tower, cylinder under Ujjwala scheme will be given.
> All the villages of the state will be connected by roads.
> The Naxal-affected villages of Bastar will be given the benefit of about 25 basic facilities.
> Apart from this, farmers will be given the benefit of seed and skill upgradation schemes.
> Forest produce will be purchased by the government at minimum support price.
> Van Dhan Kendras will be set up in the state. Forest villages will be declared as revenue villages as per requirement.
> Under the Forest Rights Act 2006, forest rights letters will be given to forest villages.
> Facilities like sports ground, forest rights lease, DTH and TV etc. will be provided in every village.
> Facilities like helipad and bus facility to the block headquarters will also be provided.
> Every house will be given the benefit of free electricity up to 500 units, Mahtari Vandan Yojana and Samman Nidhi > Yojana for farmers for the next one year.
> Under this scheme, similar facilities will be provided to the beneficiaries under PM Janman Yojana.
