The government of Madhya Pradesh has started a program called “Mukhyamantri Yuva Kaushal Kamai Yojana.” This initiative is designed to help the youth become self-reliant and contribute to building a self-sufficient Madhya Pradesh. To support this, the government has introduced the MP Youth Portal, where young people can acquire different skills and get ready for job opportunities.
Mukhyamantri Yuva Kaushal Kamai Yojana Apply at MP Youth Portal
While speaking at the “Youth Mahapanchayat” commemorating the sacrifice of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan declared that a self-reliant Madhya Pradesh can only be built with the active participation of the youth. To achieve this goal, a new initiative called “Mukhyamantri Yuva Kaushal Kamai Yojana” will come into effect from July 1, 2023. The CM stated,
“The state government is fully prepared to make necessary arrangements and offer support to help the youth achieve their dreams and succeed. As part of this effort, the state’s youth policy and the MP Youth Portal are being launched today.” He also mentioned that the youth of the state will acquire skills through collaboration with top institutions and receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 8000.
In addition to launching the youth portal, CM Chouhan introduced the youth policy and revealed its accompanying booklet. During the event, the chief minister facilitated financial transactions, including Rs. 17.94 crore transferred to the accounts of 20,937 beneficiaries under the Mukhyamantri Jan-Kalyan Shiksha Protsahan Yojana, Rs. 175 crore allocated for the education of 3,182 students studying in institutions across the country and the state through the Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana, Rs. 4.38 crore distributed to 132 players who secured 66 medals for the state in the 36th Games, and Rs. 12.90 crore provided to 25,800 daughters under the Gaon Ki Beti Yojana. Furthermore, the Madhya Pradesh CM handed over contract letters to the youth for apprenticeships in esteemed industrial units within the state.
“Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India is progressing towards becoming a grand, glorious, powerful, and prosperous nation. Thanks to PM Modi’s initiatives, the country has gained awareness about the struggles and sacrifices made by both well-known and lesser-known heroes of freedom,” stated CM Chouhan.
He further announced the implementation of a separate merit list for MBBS and BDS admissions specifically for students from government schools in the state. To facilitate this, 5 percent of seats will be reserved in colleges. The CM also disclosed plans to reconstitute a state-level youth commission by April 5th and introduced other initiatives, including the preparation of a Youth budget, organizing MP Youth games, establishing a Global Skill Park in Bhopal, and a tenfold increase in incubator seats across the state.
