The Legrand Empowering Scholarship Program 2025-26, a Social Initiative of Group Legrand India, aims to provide financial support to meritorious girls, differently-abled girls, Covid-affected students, LGBTQ+ students and students with single parents or orphans for their higher education. Under this program, academically promising girl students pursuing B.Tech., B.E., B.Arch., or other undergraduate degrees in Finance or Science (such as B.Sc., B.Com., B.B.A., etc.) will receive 60% of the annual course fee, up to INR 60,000 per year. Students in the special category* will receive 80% of the annual course fee, up to INR 1,00,000 per year, until they complete their course, based on their academic performance.
*Special category: Differently-abled girl students, LGBTQ+ students, Covid-affected students, and students with single parents or orphans.

Key Highlights
- Scholarship benefit is given till the end of the course based on the student’s performance.
- Mentoring support is provided to the selected scholarship beneficiaries by Legrand India. Industrial experts and subject matter experts to build women’s future leaders.
- A bi-annual Student Connect Program is organized for all the beneficiaries of this scholarship program to connect with Leaders of Group Legrand India and to build a network for development.
Eligibility
- Open to differently-abled girl students, LGBTQ+ students, Covid-affected students and students with single parents or orphans across India.
- Applicants must have secured admission in B.Tech., B.E., B.Arch., B.B.A., B.Com., or B.Sc. degrees in India.
- Applicants must have passed Class 12 in the year 2023–24.
- Applicants must have secured 60% marks in Classes 10 and 12 examinations. Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Annual family income of the applicant from all sources must be less than INR 5,00,000.
Benefits
- 80% of annual course fees up to INR 1,00,000 per year (whichever is less) till the completion of the course will be awarded to the special category* students based on academic performance.
NOTE: Preference will be given to students from special category*.

- Photo ID Card
- Age-proof (Birth Certificate, Aadhaar Card, Passport, Class 10 school leaving certificate)
- Aadhaar Card (If Aadhaar Card is not available, an equivalent document for proof of address)
- Class 10th and 12th marksheet
- Family Income Certificates or Form 16 of parents/ bank statements of the last six months
- Bank account details of the applicant (or parent)
- Passport-size photograph of the applicant
- Proof of admission or college/university fee receipt for the current academic year
- PwD certificate/Transgender certificate/any other valid certificate
