Jagadis Bose National Science Talent Search Junior Scholarship Test 2024

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

• be a domicile of West Bengal
• have passed the Class 10 examination in 2023 or later with a minimum of 75% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate
• be currently enrolled in Class 11 (science stream) in a recognised school/institute of West Bengal during the 2024 academic year
• have chosen at least three of the following subjects:
  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Mathematics
  • Biology
  • Statistics
  • Computer Science

Note: Students who passed Class 10 before 2023 are not eligible to apply.

Selected candidates will receive a monthly scholarship of ₹1,250 for 2 years till the completion of Class 12 exams.

Note: Female students selected for Junior Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti will receive ₹1,250, an annual book grant of ₹2,500 and exposure to seminars and workshops designed for the young scholars.

A scanned copy of one of the following documents as proof of admission to Class 11 (in JPEG/PDF format, 1MB size):

• Fees book
• Letter from the Headmaster/Principal
• School identity card
• Library card

Step 1: Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button below.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Register’ button on the right-hand side of the dashboard and fill in the required details to ‘Register’. (Note:- If already registered, log in using the registered email ID.)
Step 3: Navigate to ‘Apply online for JUNIOR TALENT SEARCH TEST’ at the bottom of the page and click on it.
Step 4: Fill in the required information, upload the necessary documents and click ‘Click here for FINAL SUBMISSION AND ONLINE PAYMENT’.
Step 5: Make the online payment of a non-refundable application fee of ₹100 through Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/Wallet & UPI at the time of submission and submit the application.
