Step 1 : Open the App Store or Play Store, based on the device you’re using. Next, on your smartphone, download the “Voter Helpline” app from the Election Commission of India.
Step 2 : Now click on the e-Epic icon visible on the left side.
Step 3 : Now first of all you have to login to your account. After this you will have to enter your registered mobile number and click on “Send OTP” option.
Step 4 : A fresh page will now appear for you to view. Click the Login Now button after entering the OTP that was sent to the registered mobile number in the OTP section and the password that you set up when registering for the application in the Password section. In the Voter Helpline application, if you haven’t already, click the New user option to start the account creation process.
Step 5 : Now a new interface will be opened. You will be asked if you have a Voters ID or Reference number. Here you will see two options,
- Yes, I have EPIC No
- Yes, I have Form Reference Number
- You can select and enter anyone. But if you don’t know your EPIC No (Voter ID Number) then click on the ‘Search details’ option
Step 6 : After that, type your age, father’s name, and your name. Next, you will need to choose your constituency, state, district, and gender. You can find your voter ID number once you enter all of these details. Click the “Next” button now.
Step 7 : Now you have to select Yes I have EPIC Number.
Step 8 : After choosing your state and entering your EPIC number, click the “Fetch details” option.
Step 9 : Your voter ID card details will appear on the screen as soon as you select the “Fetch Details” option. Thus, verify the information, including your email address and phone number, and then press the “Proceed” button.
Step 10 : Click the Verify and download Epic option after entering the OTP that you received on your registered mobile number in the OTP section. Your voter ID card will open in front of you as soon as you select the Verify and Download option. By clicking on the share icon below, you can download it and share it on WhatsApp. This voter ID card is valid everywhere. Additionally, you have the option to print the Voter ID card that you downloaded and carry it with you.
