Bihar Small Industries Scheme 2024
The Bihar Small Entrepreneur Scheme has been approved by the Bihar Government in the Bihar Cabinet meeting on 16 January 2024 to enable people from economically weaker sections of the state to set up enterprises. Under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh will be provided to each family for entrepreneurship and self-employment. About 94 lakh families will be provided benefits through the Small Entrepreneur Scheme by the state government. To implement this scheme, a committee has been formed under the chairmanship of the Additional Chief Secretary and Principal Secretary of the Industries Department.

The objective of Bihar Laghu Udyami Yojana
The main objective of starting the Bihar Small Entrepreneur Scheme by the Bihar Government is to provide financial assistance for entrepreneurship and self-employment to the economically weak i.e. poor families. According to the caste-based survey report, there are 94,33,312 families in Bihar whose monthly income is Rs 6000 or less. And it is on this income that he and his family survive. But now the state government will provide financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh to each family through the Bihar Small Entrepreneur Scheme so that they can improve their economic condition by establishing self-employment. > Under the chairmanship of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the Bihar Small Entrepreneur Scheme has been started for the economic development of poor families in different sections of the state.
